CVE-2024-35948 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bcachefs: Check for journal entries overruning end of sb clean section Fix a missing bounds check in superblock validation. Note that we don't yet have repair code for this case - repair code for individual items is generally low priority, since the whole superblock is checksummed, validated prior to write, and we have backups.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4.2: fix nfs4_listxattr kernel BUG at mm/usercopy.c:102 A call to listxattr() with a buffer size = 0 returns the actual size of the buffer needed for a subsequent call. When size > 0, nfs4_listxattr() does not return an error because either generic_listxattr() or nfs4_listxattr_nfs4_label() consumes exactly all the bytes then size is 0 when calling nfs4_listxattr_nfs4_user() which then triggers the following kernel BUG: [ 99.403778] kernel BUG at mm/usercopy.c:102! CVE-2024-26864 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Fix refcnt handling in __inet_hash_connect(). syzbot reported a warning in sk_nulls_del_node_init_rcu(). The commit 66b60b0c8c4a ("dccp/tcp: Unhash sk from ehash for tb2 alloc failure after check_estalblished().") tried to fix an issue that an unconnected socket occupies an ehash entry when bhash2 allocation fails. In such a case, we need to revert changes done by check_established(), which does not hold refcnt when inserting socket into ehash. So, to revert the change, we need to __sk_nulls_add_node_rcu() instead of sk_nulls_add_node_rcu(). Otherwise, sock_put() will cause refcnt underflow and leak the socket. CVE-2024-26853 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-04 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: igc: avoid returning frame twice in XDP_REDIRECT When a frame can not be transmitted in XDP_REDIRECT (e.g. due to a full queue), it is necessary to free it by calling xdp_return_frame_rx_napi. However, this is the responsibility of the caller of the ndo_xdp_xmit (see for example bq_xmit_all in kernel/bpf/devmap.c) and thus calling it inside igc_xdp_xmit (which is the ndo_xdp_xmit of the igc driver) as well will lead to memory corruption. In fact, bq_xmit_all expects that it can return all frames after the last successfully transmitted one. Therefore, break for the first not transmitted frame, but do not call xdp_return_frame_rx_napi in igc_xdp_xmit. This is equally implemented in other Intel drivers such as the igb. There are two alternatives to this that were rejected: 1. Return num_frames as all the frames would have been transmitted and release them inside igc_xdp_xmit. While it might work technically, it is not what the return value is meant to represent (i.e. the number of SUCCESSFULLY transmitted packets). 2. Rework kernel/bpf/devmap.c and all drivers to support non-consecutively dropped packets. Besides being complex, it likely has a negative performance impact without a significant gain since it is anyway unlikely that the next frame can be transmitted if the previous one was dropped. The memory corruption can be reproduced with the following script which leads to a kernel panic after a few seconds. It basically generates more traffic than a i225 NIC can transmit and pushes it via XDP_REDIRECT from a virtual interface to the physical interface where frames get dropped. #!/bin/bash INTERFACE=enp4s0 INTERFACE_IDX=`cat /sys/class/net/$INTERFACE/ifindex` sudo ip link add dev veth1 type veth peer name veth2 sudo ip link set up $INTERFACE sudo ip link set up veth1 sudo ip link set up veth2 cat << EOF > redirect.bpf.c SEC("prog") int redirect(struct xdp_md *ctx) { return bpf_redirect($INTERFACE_IDX, 0); } char _license[] SEC("license") = "GPL"; EOF clang -O2 -g -Wall -target bpf -c redirect.bpf.c -o redirect.bpf.o sudo ip link set veth2 xdp obj redirect.bpf.o cat << EOF > pass.bpf.c SEC("prog") int pass(struct xdp_md *ctx) { return XDP_PASS; } char _license[] SEC("license") = "GPL"; EOF clang -O2 -g -Wall -target bpf -c pass.bpf.c -o pass.bpf.o sudo ip link set $INTERFACE xdp obj pass.bpf.o cat << EOF > trafgen.cfg { /* Ethernet Header */ 0xe8, 0x6a, 0x64, 0x41, 0xbf, 0x46, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF, const16(ETH_P_IP), /* IPv4 Header */ 0b01000101, 0, # IPv4 version, IHL, TOS const16(1028), # IPv4 total length (UDP length + 20 bytes (IP header)) const16(2), # IPv4 ident 0b01000000, 0, # IPv4 flags, fragmentation off 64, # IPv4 TTL 17, # Protocol UDP csumip(14, 33), # IPv4 checksum /* UDP Header */ 10, 0, 1, 1, # IP Src - adapt as needed 10, 0, 1, 2, # IP Dest - adapt as needed const16(6666), # UDP Src Port const16(6666), # UDP Dest Port const16(1008), # UDP length (UDP header 8 bytes + payload length) csumudp(14, 34), # UDP checksum /* Payload */ fill('W', 1000), } EOF sudo trafgen -i trafgen.cfg -b3000MB -o veth1 --cpp

CVE-2024-26826 2 Linux, Redhat 6 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: fix data re-injection from stale subflow When the MPTCP PM detects that a subflow is stale, all the packet scheduler must re-inject all the mptcp-level unacked data. To avoid acquiring unneeded locks, it first try to check if any unacked data is present at all in the RTX queue, but such check is currently broken, as it uses TCP-specific helper on an MPTCP socket. Funnily enough fuzzers and static checkers are happy, as the accessed memory still belongs to the mptcp_sock struct, and even from a functional perspective the recovery completed successfully, as the short-cut test always failed. A recent unrelated TCP change - commit d5fed5addb2b ("tcp: reorganize tcp_sock fast path variables") - exposed the issue, as the tcp field reorganization makes the mptcp code always skip the re-inection. Fix the issue dropping the bogus call: we are on a slow path, the early optimization proved once again to be evil.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3-its: Restore quirk probing for ACPI-based systems While refactoring the way the ITSs are probed, the handling of quirks applicable to ACPI-based platforms was lost. As a result, systems such as HIP07 lose their GICv4 functionnality, and some other may even fail to boot, unless they are configured to boot with DT. Move the enabling of quirks into its_probe_one(), making it common to all firmware implementations.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/kasan: Fix addr error caused by page alignment In kasan_init_region, when k_start is not page aligned, at the begin of for loop, k_cur = k_start & PAGE_MASK is less than k_start, and then `va = block + k_cur - k_start` is less than block, the addr va is invalid, because the memory address space from va to block is not alloced by memblock_alloc, which will not be reserved by memblock_reserve later, it will be used by other places. As a result, memory overwriting occurs. for example: int __init __weak kasan_init_region(void *start, size_t size) { [...] /* if say block(dcd97000) k_start(feef7400) k_end(feeff3fe) */ block = memblock_alloc(k_end - k_start, PAGE_SIZE); [...] for (k_cur = k_start & PAGE_MASK; k_cur < k_end; k_cur += PAGE_SIZE) { /* at the begin of for loop * block(dcd97000) va(dcd96c00) k_cur(feef7000) k_start(feef7400) * va(dcd96c00) is less than block(dcd97000), va is invalid */ void *va = block + k_cur - k_start; [...] } [...] } Therefore, page alignment is performed on k_start before memblock_alloc() to ensure the validity of the VA address.

This patch fixes the issue by checking the bearer type before calling tipc_udp_nl_bearer_add() in tipc_nl_bearer_add().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: add sanity checks to rx zerocopy TCP rx zerocopy intent is to map pages initially allocated from NIC drivers, not pages owned by a fs. This patch adds to can_map_frag() these additional checks: - Page must not be a compound one. - page->mapping must be NULL. This fixes the panic reported by ZhangPeng. syzbot was able to loopback packets built with sendfile(), mapping pages owned by an ext4 file to TCP rx zerocopy. r3 = socket$inet_tcp(0x2, 0x1, 0x0) mmap(&(0x7f0000ff9000/0x4000)=nil, 0x4000, 0x0, 0x12, r3, 0x0) r4 = socket$inet_tcp(0x2, 0x1, 0x0) bind$inet(r4, &(0x7f0000000000)={0x2, 0x4e24, @multicast1}, 0x10) connect$inet(r4, &(0x7f00000006c0)={0x2, 0x4e24, @empty}, 0x10) r5 = openat$dir(0xffffffffffffff9c, &(0x7f00000000c0)='./file0\x00', 0x181e42, 0x0) fallocate(r5, 0x0, 0x0, 0x85b8) sendfile(r4, r5, 0x0, 0x8ba0) getsockopt$inet_tcp_TCP_ZEROCOPY_RECEIVE(r4, 0x6, 0x23, &(0x7f00000001c0)={&(0x7f0000ffb000/0x3000)=nil, 0x3000, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0}, &(0x7f0000000440)=0x40) r6 = openat$dir(0xffffffffffffff9c, &(0x7f00000000c0)='./file0\x00', 0x181e42, 0x0)
CVE-2026-16295 2 Clearfy Cache, Wordpress 2 Clearfy Cache, Wordpress 2026-08-04 N/A
The Clearfy Cache WordPress plugin before 2.4.3 does not perform a capability check in one of its admin-page dispatch paths, allowing any authenticated user such as a Subscriber to render admin-only settings pages and disclose their contents, including administrative nonces, while the canonical page URL correctly restricts access.
CVE-2026-16548 2026-08-04 N/A
The Chat Widget: Floating Customer Support Button for 30+ Channels, Supporting SMS, Calls, and Chat WordPress plugin before 1.8.2 does not validate the type, extension, content, or size of files submitted to its public response endpoint and stores them under the uploads directory, so an unauthenticated user can upload arbitrary files. The original extension is discarded (files are stored under a bare UUID), so this does not yield code execution or stored XSS; impact is bounded to disk consumption and content hosting. The storing path requires the channel's response storage or mail-forwarding to be configured.
CVE-2023-52887 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: can: j1939: enhanced error handling for tightly received RTS messages in xtp_rx_rts_session_new This patch enhances error handling in scenarios with RTS (Request to Send) messages arriving closely. It replaces the less informative WARN_ON_ONCE backtraces with a new error handling method. This provides clearer error messages and allows for the early termination of problematic sessions. Previously, sessions were only released at the end of j1939_xtp_rx_rts(). Potentially this could be reproduced with something like: testj1939 -r vcan0:0x80 & while true; do # send first RTS cansend vcan0 18EC8090#1014000303002301; # send second RTS cansend vcan0 18EC8090#1014000303002301; # send abort cansend vcan0 18EC8090#ff00000000002301; done
CVE-2023-52775 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-04 8.2 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: avoid data corruption caused by decline We found a data corruption issue during testing of SMC-R on Redis applications. The benchmark has a low probability of reporting a strange error as shown below. "Error: Protocol error, got "\xe2" as reply type byte" Finally, we found that the retrieved error data was as follows: 0xE2 0xD4 0xC3 0xD9 0x04 0x00 0x2C 0x20 0xA6 0x56 0x00 0x16 0x3E 0x0C 0xCB 0x04 0x02 0x01 0x00 0x00 0x20 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0xE2 It is quite obvious that this is a SMC DECLINE message, which means that the applications received SMC protocol message. We found that this was caused by the following situations: client server ¦ clc proposal -------------> ¦ clc accept <------------- ¦ clc confirm -------------> wait llc confirm send llc confirm ¦failed llc confirm ¦ x------ (after 2s)timeout wait llc confirm rsp wait decline (after 1s) timeout (after 2s) timeout ¦ decline --------------> ¦ decline <-------------- As a result, a decline message was sent in the implementation, and this message was read from TCP by the already-fallback connection. This patch double the client timeout as 2x of the server value, With this simple change, the Decline messages should never cross or collide (during Confirm link timeout). This issue requires an immediate solution, since the protocol updates involve a more long-term solution.
CVE-2023-52732 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ceph: blocklist the kclient when receiving corrupted snap trace When received corrupted snap trace we don't know what exactly has happened in MDS side. And we shouldn't continue IOs and metadatas access to MDS, which may corrupt or get incorrect contents. This patch will just block all the further IO/MDS requests immediately and then evict the kclient itself. The reason why we still need to evict the kclient just after blocking all the further IOs is that the MDS could revoke the caps faster.
