CVE-2026-59204 1 Python-pillow 1 Pillow 2026-07-21 7.5 High
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.2.0 through 12.2.0, src/libImaging/Jpeg2KDecode.c accumulates total_component_width across every tile in a JPEG2000 image instead of recomputing it per tile, allowing a crafted tiled JPEG2000 file to force substantially higher transient memory usage and trigger out-of-memory failures during decoding. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0.
CVE-2026-63957 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-21 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: USB: serial: safe_serial: fix memory corruption with small endpoint Make sure that the bulk-out buffer size is at least eight bytes to avoid user-controlled slab corruption in "safe" mode should a malicious device report a smaller size.
CVE-2026-59847 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird 2026-07-21 5.9 Medium
A flaw was found in libssh. Incorrect AES-GCM finalization checks in builds using the OpenSSL backend can effectively remove integrity protection, allowing an in-path attacker to modify plaintext on the wire without detection.
CVE-2026-63939 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-21 9.3 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SEV: Compute the correct max length of the in-GHCB scratch area When setting the length of the GHCB scratch area, and the area is in the GHCB shared buffer, set the effective length of the scratch area to the max possible size given the start of the guest-provided pointer, and the end of the shared buffer. The code was "fine" when first introduced, as KVM doesn't consult the length of the buffer when emulating MMIO, because the passed in @len always specifies the *max* size required. But for PSC requests, the incoming @len is just the minimum length (to process the header), and KVM needs to know the full size of the scratch area to avoid buffer overflows (spoiler alert). Opportunistically rename @len => @min_len to better reflect its role.
CVE-2026-36027 2026-07-21 6.8 Medium
An issue in Code27 Companion Hub SQ3A.220705.003.A1 allows a physically proximate attacker to execute arbitrary code via the USB debugging (ADB) and Android Debug Bridge components
CVE-2026-45784 2026-07-20 N/A
rust-openssl provides OpenSSL bindings for the Rust programming language. From 0.10.50 until 0.10.80, CipherCtxRef::cipher_update_inplace in openssl/src/cipher_ctx.rs incorrectly sized output buffers when used with AES key-wrap-with-padding ciphers EVP_aes_{128,192,256}_wrap_pad. For a non-multiple-of-8 input, OpenSSL writes up to 7 bytes past the end of the caller's buffer or Vec, producing attacker-controllable heap corruption when the plaintext length is attacker-influenced. This issue is fixed in version 0.10.80.
CVE-2026-53366 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus 2026-07-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: account for fraggap on the paged allocation path In __ip_append_data(), when the paged-allocation branch is taken, alloclen and pagedlen are computed as alloclen = fragheaderlen + transhdrlen; pagedlen = datalen - transhdrlen; datalen already includes fraggap, but the fraggap bytes carried over from the previous skb are copied into the new skb's linear area at offset transhdrlen by the subsequent skb_copy_and_csum_bits(). The linear area is therefore undersized by fraggap bytes while pagedlen is overstated by the same amount. The non-paged branch sets alloclen to fraglen, which already accounts for fraggap because datalen does. Bring the paged branch in line by adding fraggap to alloclen and subtracting it from pagedlen. After this adjustment, copy no longer collapses to -fraggap on the paged path, so remove the stale comment describing that old arithmetic.
CVE-2026-53362 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: account for fraggap on the paged allocation path In __ip6_append_data(), when the paged-allocation branch is taken (MSG_MORE / NETIF_F_SG / large fraglen), alloclen and pagedlen are computed as alloclen = fragheaderlen + transhdrlen; pagedlen = datalen - transhdrlen; datalen already includes fraggap (datalen = length + fraggap). When fraggap is non-zero, this is not the first skb and transhdrlen is zero. The fraggap bytes carried over from the previous skb are copied just past the fragment headers in the new skb's linear area. The linear area is therefore undersized by fraggap bytes while pagedlen is overstated by the same amount, and the copy writes past skb->end into the trailing skb_shared_info. An unprivileged user can trigger this via a UDPv6 socket using MSG_MORE together with MSG_SPLICE_PAGES. The bad accounting was introduced by commit 773ba4fe9104 ("ipv6: avoid partial copy for zc"). Before commit ce650a166335 ("udp6: Fix __ip6_append_data()'s handling of MSG_SPLICE_PAGES"), the negative copy value caused -EINVAL to be returned. That later commit allowed MSG_SPLICE_PAGES to proceed in this case, making the corruption triggerable. Since a negative copy is no longer expected for a valid MSG_SPLICE_PAGES case, remove the MSG_SPLICE_PAGES exception from the negative copy check.
CVE-2026-42533 1 F5 2 Nginx Open Source, Nginx Plus 2026-07-17 8.1 High
A vulnerability exists in NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source when a map directive uses regex matching and a string expression references the map's regex capture variables before referencing the map output variable. Alternatively, the same result could be achieved by using a non-cacheable variable in a string expression under certain conditions. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or to possibly trigger a code execution. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only.  Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
CVE-2026-58472 2 Gnu, Wget 2 Wget, Wget 2026-07-14 5.9 Medium
GNU Wget through 1.25.0, fixed in commit dd692d9, contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the html_quote_string() function in src/convert.c that allows a remote attacker to trigger memory corruption by supplying a crafted HTML attribute with a large number of characters requiring entity encoding. A server-supplied HTML attribute causes a signed integer counter to overflow during output size accumulation, resulting in an undersized heap allocation and subsequent heap buffer overflow during the copy phase.
CVE-2026-52761 1 Modsecurity 1 Modsecurity 2026-07-13 5.8 Medium
ModSecurity is an open source, cross platform web application firewall (WAF) engine for Apache, IIS and Nginx. From 3.0.0 through 3.0.15, the t:utf8toUnicode transformation in src/actions/transformations/utf8_to_unicode.cc produces wrong output on i386 architecture because snprintf uses sizeof on a char pointer rather than the length of the unicode buffer, allowing rules that use this transformation to be bypassed on i386 architecture. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.16.
CVE-2026-55827 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-07-10 7.5 High
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.1, FreeRDP clients launched with the non-default /cache:codec:rfx option pass desktop stride and height to RemoteFX decoding for Cache Bitmap V3 data while allocating bitmap->data only for the smaller DstWidth and DstHeight in gdi_Bitmap_Decompress, allowing a malicious RDP server to trigger a heap out-of-bounds write with attacker-controlled offset and content. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.1.
CVE-2026-0280 1 Palo Alto Networks 4 Cloud Ngfw, Pan-os, Panorama and 1 more 2026-07-09 N/A
An IPv6 packet processing vulnerability in the dataplane of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables an unauthenticated attacker to bypass firewall security policy enforcement, allowing network traffic that should be blocked to reach protected services. Cloud NGFW and Panorama are not impacted by this vulnerability.
CVE-2026-15170 1 Wireshark 1 Wireshark 2026-07-09 5.5 Medium
Z39.50 protocol dissector crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.6 and 4.4.0 to 4.4.16 allows denial of service
CVE-2026-14739 1 Hmbrand 1 Dbi 2026-07-08 9.8 Critical
DBI versions before 1.650 for Perl have a heap overflow when preparsing SQL statements with an extreme number of placeholders. The fix for CVE-2026-10879 did not allocate enough memory to handle approximately 1.2-million placeholders. DBI version 1.650 sets a hard limit of 99,999 placeholders.
CVE-2026-14759 1 Radareorg 1 Radare2 2026-07-06 3.3 Low
A security flaw has been discovered in radareorg radare2 up to 6.1.6. This issue affects the function r_bin_java_inner_classes_attr_calc_size of the file shlr/java/class.c of the component RBinJava Line Number Table Parser. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The patch is named cd62d15a6cbecdc67fd03f3ebdbbbeb741d18f87. To fix this issue, it is recommended to deploy a patch.
CVE-2026-54900 1 Ohler 1 Oj 2026-07-01 7.5 High
Oj (Optimized JSON) is a JSON parser and Object marshaller packaged as a Ruby gem. In versions prior to 3.17.2, when in usual mode with create_id enabled, Oj::Parser#parse is vulnerable to heap corruption via a negative-size memcpy. When a JSON object key is exactly 65,535 bytes long, an integer truncation in form_attr (usual.c:63) converts the length to -1 before passing it to memcpy. This causes memcpy to copy SIZE_MAX bytes (interpreted as a huge size_t), corrupting heap memory and crashing the process. The issue has been fixed in version 3.17.2.
CVE-2026-54696 1 Ruby 1 Json 2026-07-01 3.7 Low
Ruby JSON is a JSON implementation for Ruby. Versions 2.9.0 through 2.19.8 are vulnerable to heap buffer overflow when the JSON generator is provided with an oversized streamed object. When streaming to an IO JSON.dump(obj, io) and JSON::State#generate(obj, io) can write past the internal JSON generator buffer when a streamed object contains an attacker-controlled string near 16 KB. Exploitation would result in a reliable process crash/denial of service. This issue has been fixed in version 2.19.9.
CVE-2025-61661 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-06-30 4.8 Medium
A vulnerability has been identified in the GRUB (Grand Unified Bootloader) component. This flaw occurs because the bootloader mishandles string conversion when reading information from a USB device, allowing an attacker to exploit inconsistent length values. A local attacker can connect a maliciously configured USB device during the boot sequence to trigger this issue. A successful exploitation may lead GRUB to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Data corruption may be also possible, although given the complexity of the exploit the impact is most likely limited.
CVE-2026-53288 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-29 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: Reserve an extra page for early kernel mapping The final part of [data, end) segment may overflow into the next page of init_pg_end[1] which is the gap page before early_init_stack[2]: [1] crash_arm64_v9.0.1> vtop ffffffed00601000 VIRTUAL PHYSICAL ffffffed00601000 83401000 PAGE DIRECTORY: ffffffecffd62000 PGD: ffffffecffd62da0 => 10000000833fb003 PMD: ffffff80033fb018 => 10000000833fe003 PTE: ffffff80033fe008 => 68000083401f03 PAGE: 83401000 PTE PHYSICAL FLAGS 68000083401f03 83401000 (VALID|SHARED|AF|NG|PXN|UXN) PAGE PHYSICAL MAPPING INDEX CNT FLAGS fffffffec00d0040 83401000 0 0 1 4000 reserved [2] ffffffed002c8000 (r) __pi__data ffffffed0054e000 (d) __pi___bss_start ffffffed005f5000 (b) __pi_init_pg_dir ffffffed005fe000 (b) __pi_init_pg_end ffffffed005ff000 (B) early_init_stack ffffffed00608000 (b) __pi__end For 4K pages, the early kernel mapping may use 2MB block entries but the kernel segments are only 64KB aligned. Segment boundaries that fall within a 2MB block therefore require a PTE table so that different attributes can be applied on either side of the boundary. KERNEL_SEGMENT_COUNT still correctly counts the five permanent kernel VMAs registered by declare_kernel_vmas(). However, since commit 5973a62efa34 ("arm64: map [_text, _stext) virtual address range non-executable+read-only"), the early mapper also maps [_text, _stext) separately from [_stext, _etext). This adds one more early-only split and can require one more page-table page than the existing EARLY_SEGMENT_EXTRA_PAGES allowance reserves. Increase the 4K-page early mapping allowance by one page to cover that additional split. [catalin.marinas@arm.com: rewrote part of the commit log] [catalin.marinas@arm.com: expanded the code comment]
