CVE-2026-57159 1 Pjsip 1 Pjproject 2026-09-04 N/A
PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. Prior to commit 673b978, a remote out-of-bounds read and write can occur in the SDP negotiator when the remote payload-type map maintenance feature is enabled. assign_pt_and_update_map() in pjmedia/src/pjmedia/sdp_neg.c uses payload-type numbers taken from a remote SDP offer or answer to index fixed-size internal tables without sufficient bounds validation, so a crafted remote SDP can cause memory access outside those tables. The practical impact is memory corruption and denial of service; code execution is not demonstrated. This path is only reached when PJMEDIA_SDP_NEG_MAINTAIN_REMOTE_PT_MAP is enabled. The default is disabled, so default builds are not affected; the feature is an interoperability option that integrating products may enable. This issue has been patched via commit 673b978.
CVE-2026-80910 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: codecs: lpass-wsa-macro: Fix enum kcontrol accesses EAR SPKR PA Gain" and the four "WSA RX* Mux" controls are enumerated, but their get and put callbacks access the value through ucontrol->value.integer.value[0] (a long) instead of ucontrol->value.enumerated.item[0] (an unsigned int). This same pattern was fixed in the sibling drivers by commit bcfe5f76cc40 ("ASoC: codecs: rx-macro: fix accessing array out of bounds for enum type") and commit 0ea5eff7c606 ("ASoC: codecs: va-macro: fix accessing array out of bounds for enum type"), but wsa-macro was missed. On 64-bit kernels with CONFIG_SND_CTL_DEBUG this trips the elem value sanity check and every read of these controls fails with -EINVAL.
CVE-2026-80874 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: arm64: dts: renesas: ironhide: Describe inline ECC carveouts The DBSC5 DRAM controller protects DRAM content using inline ECC. The inline ECC utilizes areas of DRAM for its operation, which are in the DRAM address range, but must not be accessed or modified. Describe the inline ECC carveout areas used by the DBSC5 controller on this hardware as reserved-memory, which must not be accessed. Include DRAM areas which are unprotected by ECC as well, those are parts of the DRAM which directly precede the ECC carveout. In case of high DRAM utilization, unless the inline ECC carveouts are properly reserved, Linux may use and corrupt the memory used by the DBSC5 DRAM controller for inline ECC, which would lead to the system becoming unstable.
CVE-2026-64324 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udf: validate free block extents against the partition length udf_free_blocks() checks the logical block number and count against the partition length, but drops the extent offset from that final bound. A crafted extent can pass the guard while logicalBlockNum + offset + count points past the partition, which later indexes past the space bitmap array. A single ftruncate(2) on a file backed by such an extent reliably panics the kernel. This is a local availability issue. On desktop systems where UDisks/polkit allows the active user to mount removable UDF media without CAP_SYS_ADMIN, an unprivileged local user can supply the crafted filesystem and trigger the panic by truncating a writable file on it. Systems that require root or CAP_SYS_ADMIN to mount the image have a higher prerequisite. No confidentiality or integrity impact is claimed: the reproduced primitive is an out-of-bounds read of a bitmap pointer slot followed by a kernel panic. Use the already computed logicalBlockNum + offset + count value for the partition length check. Also make load_block_bitmap() reject an out-of-range block group before indexing s_block_bitmap[], so corrupted callers cannot walk past the flexible array.
CVE-2026-64330 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: tcpm: Validate SVID index in svdm_consume_modes() In svdm_consume_modes(), the SVID value is read from pmdata->svids using pmdata->svid_index as an array index without bounds validation: paltmode->svid = pmdata->svids[pmdata->svid_index]; If pmdata->svid_index is driven beyond SVID_DISCOVERY_MAX (16), it results in an out-of-bounds read of the pmdata->svids array. Because pd_mode_data is embedded inside struct tcpm_port, indexing past svids reads into adjacent fields. In particular: - At index 16, it reads the altmodes count. - At index 18 and beyond, it reads into altmode_desc[], which contains partner-supplied SVDM Discovery Modes VDOs. By injecting a chosen SVID into altmode_desc[0].vdo and driving svid_index to 20, the partner can force paltmode->svid to be loaded with an arbitrary, partner- chosen SVID, which is then registered via typec_partner_register_altmode(). Fix this by validating that pmdata->svid_index is non-negative and strictly less than pmdata->nsvids before accessing the pmdata->svids array inside svdm_consume_modes().
CVE-2026-80745 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-04 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regulator: fp9931: Fix VPOS/VNEG voltage selector table The VPOSNEG_table[] mapping does not match the FP9931 datasheet. The datasheet defines the VPOS/VNEG voltage mapping as: 00h-04h -> 7.04V (-7.04V) 05h -> 7.26V (-7.26V) 06h -> 7.49V (-7.49V) ... 28h-3Fh -> 15.06V (-15.06V) However, VPOSNEG_table[] has two issues: 1. Selector 0x00~0x04 should all map to 7.04V (5 entries), but the table has 6 entries of 7.04V, causing all subsequent entries to be shifted by one position. 2. Selectors 0x29~0x3F should all clamp to 15.06V (23 entries), but the table has only 41 entries. Any selector value above 0x28 would result in an out-of-bounds table access. Fix both issues by removing the duplicate 7.04V entry and appending the missing 23 clamped 15.06V entries, bringing the table to the correct size of 64 entries (0x00~0x3F).
CVE-2026-85084 1 Samsung Open Source 1 Tizenfx 2026-09-03 6.3 Medium
Out-of-bounds Write and Improper Validation of Array Index vulnerability in Samsung Open Source TizenFX Samsung/TizenFX allows Overflow Buffers.
CVE-2026-82327 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 5 more 2026-09-01 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in libsolv, a dependency-resolution library used by RPM-based package managers such as dnf and zypper to work with .solv repository cache files. When libsolv rewrites a .solv cache file, it reads directory-id values from the file's compressed filelist data without validating that they fall within the expected range. A corrupted or specially crafted .solv cache file (for example, one left in a torn state after an unclean system shutdown) can cause an out-of-bounds memory write when a tool such as dnf, yum, or zypper next processes it. Successful exploitation is expected to result in a crash of the affected tool (denial of service); it is not expected to allow arbitrary code execution because the out-of-bounds write always stores a fixed, non-attacker-controlled value.
CVE-2023-31308 1 Amd 1 Radeon Pro V620 Graphics Products 2026-09-01 3.3 Low
A malicious virtual function can invoke the certain command handlers in the SMU, causing a denial of service due to out-of-bounds memory read.
CVE-2026-32285 2 Buger, Jsonparser Project 2 Jsonparser, Jsonparser 2026-08-31 7.5 High
The Delete function fails to properly validate offsets when processing malformed JSON input. This can lead to a negative slice index and a runtime panic, allowing a denial of service attack.
CVE-2026-79775 1 Rclone 1 Rclone 2026-08-29 6.5 Medium
rclone versions >= v1.72.0 and <= v1.74.4 (fixed in v1.75.0) contain multiple denial-of-service vulnerabilities in the archive backend's SquashFS parser, which relies on the github.com/diskfs/go-diskfs dependency. The parser fails to validate attacker-controlled superblock and metadata values before use. An attacker who can place or modify a SquashFS image in storage exposed through an rclone :archive: remote can craft a malicious image that triggers an integer division-by-zero panic (zero block size), an out-of-bounds slice panic (out-of-range inode metadata offset), or a non-progress CPU loop (truncated metadata stream). Variants 1 and 2 terminate the rclone process and, via 'rclone serve sftp', can crash the entire SFTP server; variant 3 causes sustained CPU consumption. Parsing is lazy, so a victim or remote client must address or descend into the malicious archive object to trigger it.
CVE-2026-19318 1 Watchguard 1 Fireware Os 2026-08-28 N/A
A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the WatchGuard Fireware OS iked process allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending specially crafted network traffic.
CVE-2026-45839 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-27 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: reject negative CO-RE accessor indices in bpf_core_parse_spec() CO-RE accessor strings are colon-separated indices that describe a path from a root BTF type to a target field, e.g. "0:1:2" walks through nested struct members. bpf_core_parse_spec() parses each component with sscanf("%d"), so negative values like -1 are silently accepted. The subsequent bounds checks (access_idx >= btf_vlen(t)) only guard the upper bound and always pass for negative values because C integer promotion converts the __u16 btf_vlen result to int, making the comparison (int)(-1) >= (int)(N) false for any positive N. When -1 reaches btf_member_bit_offset() it gets cast to u32 0xffffffff, producing an out-of-bounds read far past the members array. A crafted BPF program with a negative CO-RE accessor on any struct that exists in vmlinux BTF (e.g. task_struct) crashes the kernel deterministically during BPF_PROG_LOAD on any system with CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_BTF=y (default on major distributions). The bug is reachable with CAP_BPF: BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffed11818b6626 #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page Oops: Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP KASAN NOPTI CPU: 0 UID: 0 PID: 85 Comm: poc Not tainted 7.0.0-rc6 #18 PREEMPT(full) RIP: 0010:bpf_core_parse_spec (tools/lib/bpf/relo_core.c:354) RAX: 00000000ffffffff Call Trace: <TASK> bpf_core_calc_relo_insn (tools/lib/bpf/relo_core.c:1321) bpf_core_apply (kernel/bpf/btf.c:9507) check_core_relo (kernel/bpf/verifier.c:19475) bpf_check (kernel/bpf/verifier.c:26031) bpf_prog_load (kernel/bpf/syscall.c:3089) __sys_bpf (kernel/bpf/syscall.c:6228) </TASK> CO-RE accessor indices are inherently non-negative (struct member index, array element index, or enumerator index), so reject them immediately after parsing.
CVE-2026-17097 1 Ibm 54 Power System E1050 \(9043-mrx\), Power System E1050 \(9043-mrx\) Firmware, Power System E1080 \(9080-hex\) and 51 more 2026-08-25 7.3 High
IBM PowerVM Hypervisor FW1120.00, FW1110.00 through FW1110.30, FW1060.00 through FW1060.80, and FW950.00 through FW950.H2 is affected by a vulnerability in the PowerVM hypervisor call interface. An attacker with root access to a guest partition can issue a specially crafted hypervisor call causing a virtual processor to become permanently unresponsive, requiring a full platform re-IPL to restore normal operation. In some cases this may also cause the guest to inject a small amount of data into hypervisor or partition memory with no attacker control over the target location. Successful exploitation results in an integrity and availability impact to the managed system.
CVE-2026-13212 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-08-24 8.8 High
The Zephyr virtio driver does not validate the descriptor-chain head id that the virtio device writes into the used ring. In virtio_isr() (drivers/virtio/virtio_common.c), the device-written vq->used->ring[idx].id is used directly as an index into vq->recv_cbs[] and vq->desc[], which are both allocated with exactly vq->num entries. recv_cbs[] holds {cb, opaque} callback entries, and the indexed callback pointer is then invoked as cbe.cb(cbe.opaque, used_len). Because the id is consumed as a 16-bit value with no bound check, a malicious or compromised virtio backend (an untrusted hypervisor, or an untrusted hardware/peer-processor virtio device on a PCI or MMIO transport) can supply an id far beyond vq->num. This causes an out-of-bounds read of a {function pointer, argument} pair from heap memory beyond recv_cbs[], after which the driver calls that attacker-shaped pointer in the guest's interrupt context. No guest privileges or user interaction are required; the backend triggers it by writing the shared used ring and raising the queue interrupt. The result is an arbitrary / attacker-influenced function-pointer call in the Zephyr guest, i.e. a control-flow-hijack primitive that can lead to code execution or, at minimum, a reliable crash. The fix rejects any used-ring id >= vq->num before indexing recv_cbs[]/desc[] or invoking the callback. This affects builds using CONFIG_VIRTIO with the PCI or MMIO transport.
CVE-2026-16849 1 Ibm 3 Aix, Powervm Vios, Vios 2026-08-24 4.3 Medium
IBM AIX 7.2, and 7.3 and IBM PowerVM VIOS 4.1 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to an improper check for an array index boundary.
CVE-2026-68082 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-23 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: libceph: fix two unsafe bare decodes in decode_lockers() decode_lockers() in cls_lock_client.c contains two bare decode operations that allow a malicious or compromised OSD to trigger slab-out-of-bounds reads: 1. ceph_decode_32(p) at the num_lockers field has no preceding bounds check. ceph_start_decoding() accepts struct_len=0 as valid -- the internal ceph_decode_need(p, end, 0, bad) always passes -- so when an OSD sends struct_len=0, ceph_start_decoding() returns success with p == end. The immediately following bare ceph_decode_32(p) then reads 4 bytes past the validated buffer boundary. The garbage value is passed directly to kzalloc_objs() as the locker count. The sibling function decode_watchers() in osd_client.c already uses ceph_decode_32_safe() after its own ceph_start_decoding() call. decode_lockers() was the only site using the bare variant. 2. ceph_decode_8(p) after the decode_locker() loop has no preceding bounds check. If an OSD crafts num_lockers such that the loop advances p exactly to end, the subsequent bare ceph_decode_8(p) reads one byte past the validated buffer boundary. The result is passed directly into *type, which is used as a lock type discriminator by callers, giving an OSD-controlled one-byte OOB read with direct influence over the lock type field. Fix both by replacing bare operations with their safe variants: ceph_decode_32(p) -> ceph_decode_32_safe(p, end, *num_lockers, err_inval) ceph_decode_8(p) -> ceph_decode_8_safe(p, end, *type, err_free_lockers) The goto targets differ intentionally: err_inval: is a new label returning -EINVAL directly. It is used for the pre-allocation failure path where *lockers is not yet allocated and must not be passed to ceph_free_lockers(). err_free_lockers: is the existing label. It is used for the post-allocation failure path where *lockers is allocated and must be freed. ret is set to -EINVAL before ceph_decode_8_safe() so that err_free_lockers returns the correct error code on bounds violation. Without this, err_free_lockers would return a stale ret value (0 from the successful decode_locker() loop), silently swallowing the error. -EINVAL is correct for both failure paths. The data received from the OSD is structurally malformed. -ENOMEM would misrepresent the failure class to callers and to stable@ backporters triaging error paths. Attacker model: a malicious or compromised OSD in a multi-tenant Ceph deployment can trigger this against any kernel client that issues the lock.get_info class method (e.g. during RBD exclusive lock acquisition). CVE-2026-64272 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-23 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: mms114 - fix touch indexing for MMS134S and MMS136 The MMS134S and MMS136 touch controllers have an event size of 6 bytes rather than 8 bytes. When __mms114_read_reg() reads the touch data packet from the device into the touch buffer, the events are packed tightly at 6-byte intervals. However, the driver iterates through the events using standard C array indexing (touch[index]), where each element is sizeof(struct mms114_touch) (8 bytes) apart. As a result, any touch events beyond the first one are read from incorrect offsets and parsed improperly. Fix this by explicitly calculating the byte offset for each touch event based on the device's specific event size.
CVE-2026-68446 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-19 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: Validate vmw_surface_metadata::array_size This field comes from userspace and should be validated against specific limits depending on which Shader Model (SM) is available.
CVE-2026-65832 1 Deskflow 1 Deskflow 2026-08-18 8.2 High
Deskflow is a keyboard and mouse sharing app. Prior to continuous build 1.26.0.299, a remote unauthenticated Deskflow server can send kMsgDSetOptions (DSOP) values to ServerProxy::setOptions() in src/lib/client/ServerProxy.cpp so that the value following a modifier option poisons m_modifierTranslationTable, after which ServerProxy::translateKey() or ServerProxy::translateModifierMask() indexes the seven-row s_translationTable or s_masks arrays out of bounds, disclosing four bytes at an attacker-selected relative offset or crashing the connected client; an odd option count also causes an out-of-bounds OptionsList read. This issue is fixed in continuous build 1.26.0.299.
