CVSS v3.1 |
| Race in Payments in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.168 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sched_ext: Disable preemption between scx_claim_exit() and kicking helper work
scx_claim_exit() atomically sets exit_kind, which prevents scx_error() from
triggering further error handling. After claiming exit, the caller must kick
the helper kthread work which initiates bypass mode and teardown.
If the calling task gets preempted between claiming exit and kicking the
helper work, and the BPF scheduler fails to schedule it back (since error
handling is now disabled), the helper work is never queued, bypass mode
never activates, tasks stop being dispatched, and the system wedges.
Disable preemption across scx_claim_exit() and the subsequent work kicking
in all callers - scx_disable() and scx_vexit(). Add
lockdep_assert_preemption_disabled() to scx_claim_exit() to enforce the
requirement. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5e: Fix "scheduling while atomic" in IPsec MAC address query
Fix a "scheduling while atomic" bug in mlx5e_ipsec_init_macs() by
replacing mlx5_query_mac_address() with ether_addr_copy() to get the
local MAC address directly from netdev->dev_addr.
The issue occurs because mlx5_query_mac_address() queries the hardware
which involves mlx5_cmd_exec() that can sleep, but it is called from
the mlx5e_ipsec_handle_event workqueue which runs in atomic context.
The MAC address is already available in netdev->dev_addr, so no need
to query hardware. This avoids the sleeping call and resolves the bug.

| Race in Shared Storage in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Race in Speech in Google Chrome prior to 148.0.7778.96 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Race in MHTML in Google Chrome prior to 147.0.7727.138 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to leak cross-origin data via a crafted Chrome Extension. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Race in GPU in Google Chrome on Windows prior to 147.0.7727.117 allowed a remote attacker to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted video file. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Successful exploitation of the race condition vulnerability could allow
an attacker to trigger a kernel heap overflow, potentially leading to local privilege
escalation and granting system-level access to the affected software. |
| Race in WebCodecs in Google Chrome prior to 147.0.7727.55 allowed a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Race in Media in Google Chrome on Android prior to 147.0.7727.55 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to corrupt media stream metadata via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the QNX Neutrino Kernel of affected versions of QNX Software Development Platform version(s) 6.4.0 to 7.0, QNX Momentics all 6.3.x versions, QNX OS for Safety versions 1.0.0 to 1.0.2, QNX OS for Safety versions 2.0.0 to 2.0.1, QNX for Medical versions 1.0.0 to 1.1.1, and QNX OS for Medical version 2.0.0 could allow an attacker to potentially access data, modify behavior, or permanently crash the system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: mana: Fix race on per-CQ variable napi work_done
After calling napi_complete_done(), the NAPIF_STATE_SCHED bit may be
cleared, and another CPU can start napi thread and access per-CQ variable,
cq->work_done. If the other thread (for example, from busy_poll) sets
it to a value >= budget, this thread will continue to run when it should
stop, and cause memory corruption and panic.
To fix this issue, save the per-CQ work_done variable in a local variable
before napi_complete_done(), so it won't be corrupted by a possible
concurrent thread after napi_complete_done().
Also, add a flag bit to advertise to the NIC firmware: the NAPI work_done
variable race is fixed, so the driver is able to reliably support features
like busy_poll. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the mips_collector appsrv_server functionality of Anker Eufy Homebase 2 2.1.8.5h. A specially-crafted set of network packets can lead to remote code execution. The device is exposed to attacks from the network. |
| In multiple functions of TranscodingResourcePolicy.cpp, there is a possible memory corruption due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the pushMuxer CreatePushThread functionality of Anker Eufy Homebase 2 2.1.6.9h. A specially-crafted set of network packets can lead to remote code execution. |
| KVM in the Linux kernel on Power8 processors has a conflicting use of HSTATE_HOST_R1 to store r1 state in kvmppc_hv_entry plus in kvmppc_{save,restore}_tm, leading to a stack corruption. Because of this, an attacker with the ability run code in kernel space of a guest VM can cause the host kernel to panic. There were two commits that, according to the reporter, introduced the vulnerability: f024ee098476 ("KVM: PPC: Book3S HV: Pull out TM state save/restore into separate procedures") 87a11bb6a7f7 ("KVM: PPC: Book3S HV: Work around XER[SO] bug in fake suspend mode") The former landed in 4.8, the latter in 4.17. This was fixed without realizing the impact in 4.18 with the following three commits, though it's believed the first is the only strictly necessary commit: 6f597c6b63b6 ("KVM: PPC: Book3S PR: Add guest MSR parameter for kvmppc_save_tm()/kvmppc_restore_tm()") 7b0e827c6970 ("KVM: PPC: Book3S HV: Factor fake-suspend handling out of kvmppc_save/restore_tm") 009c872a8bc4 ("KVM: PPC: Book3S PR: Move kvmppc_save_tm/kvmppc_restore_tm to separate file") |
