CVSS v3.1 |
| Forever KidsWatch Call Me KW50 R36_YDR_A3PW_GM7S_V1.0_2019_07_15_16.19.24_cob_h, and Forever KidsWatch Call Me 2 KW60 R36CW_YDE_S4_A29_2_V1.0_2023.05.24_22.49.44_cob_b have a Hardcoded password vulnerability. |
| The configuration file is encrypted with a static key derived from a
static five-character password which allows an attacker to decrypt this
file. The application hashes this five-character password with
the outdated and broken MD5 algorithm (no salt) and uses the first five
bytes as the key for RC4. The configuration file is then encrypted with
these parameters. |
| Array Networks vAPV (version 8.3.2.17) and vxAG (version 9.2.0.34) appliances are affected by a privilege escalation vulnerability caused by a combination of hardcoded SSH credentials (or SSH private key) and insecure permissions on a startup script. The devices ship with a default SSH login or a hardcoded DSA private key, allowing an attacker to authenticate remotely with limited privileges.
Once authenticated, an attacker can overwrite the world-writable /ca/bin/monitor.sh script with arbitrary commands. Since this script is executed with elevated privileges through the backend binary, enabling the debug monitor via backend -c "debug monitor on" triggers execution of the attacker's payload as root. This allows full system compromise. |
| Use of hard-coded credentials issue exists in Ricoh Streamline NX PC Client ver.3.7.2 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker may obtain LocalSystem Account of the PC where the product is installed. As a result, unintended operations may be performed on the PC. |
| Precor touchscreen console P62, P80, and P82 contains a default SSH public key in the authorized_keys file. A remote attacker could use this key to gain root privileges. |
| Vulnerabilities* in ActADUR local server product, developed and maintained by ProTNS, allows Remote Code Inclusion on host systems.
* vulnerabilities:
*
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection')
* Use of Hard-coded Credentials
* Improper Authentication
* Binding to an Unrestricted IP Address
The vulnerability has been rated as critical.This issue affects ActADUR: from v2.0.1.9 before v2.0.2.0., hence updating to version v2.0.2.0. or above is required. |
| ui/pref/ProxyPrefView.java in weasis-core in Weasis 4.5.1 has a hardcoded key for symmetric encryption of proxy credentials. |
| An high privileged remote attacker can enable telnet access that accepts hardcoded credentials. |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker can use the hard-coded credentials to access the SmartSPS devices with high privileges.

| It was observed that all the Toshiba printers contain credentials used for WebDAV access in the readable file. Then, it is possible to get a full access with WebDAV to the printer. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| It appears that some hardcoded keys are used for authentication to internal API. Knowing these private keys may allow attackers to bypass authentication and reach administrative interfaces. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| all the Toshiba printers have programs containing a hardcoded key used to encrypt files. An attacker can decrypt the encrypted files using the hardcoded key. Insecure algorithm is used for the encryption. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | All the Toshiba printers contain a shell script using the same hardcoded key to encrypt logs. An attacker can decrypt the encrypted files using the hardcoded key. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | SSL Pinning Bypass in eWeLink Some hardware products allows local ATTACKER to Decrypt TLS communication and Extract secrets to clone the device via Flash the modified firmware |
| CWE-798: Use of Hard-coded Credentials |
| hippo4j 1.0.0 to 1.5.0, uses a hard-coded secret key in its JWT (JSON Web Token) creation. This allows attackers with access to the source code or compiled binary to forge valid access tokens and impersonate any user, including privileged ones such as "admin". The vulnerability poses a critical security risk in systems where authentication and authorization rely on the integrity of JWTs. |
| A vulnerability was identified in FNKvision Y215 CCTV Camera 10.194.120.40. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file /etc/passwd of the component Firmware. Such manipulation leads to hard-coded credentials. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| We observed that Intellispace Portal binaries doesn’t have any protection mechanisms to prevent reverse engineering. Specifically, the app’s code is not obfuscated, and no measures are in place to protect against decompilation, disassembly, or debugging. As a result, attackers can reverse-engineer the application to gain insights into its internal workings, which can potentially lead to the discovery of sensitive information, business logic flaws, and other vulnerabilities.
Utilizing this flaw, the attacker was able to identify the Hardcoded credentials from PortalUsersDatabase.dll, which contains .NET remoting definition. Inside the namespace PortalUsersDatabase, the class Users contains the functions CreateAdmin and CreateService that are used to initialize accounts in the Portal service. Both CreateAdmin and CreateService functions contain a hardcoded encrypted password along with its respective salt that are set with the function SetInitialPasswordAndSalt.
This issue affects IntelliSpace Portal: 12 and prior; Advanced Visualization Workspace: 15. |
| Use of Hard-coded Credentials vulnerability in ABB FLXEON.This issue affects FLXEON: through 9.3.5 and newer versions |
| Use of Hard-coded Credentials vulnerability in GE Vernova EnerVista UR Setup allows Privilege Escalation. The local user database is encrypted using an hardcoded password retrievable by an attacker analyzing the application code. |
