CVE-2026-46224 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-10 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Fix bo leak in xe_dma_buf_init_obj() on allocation failure When drm_gpuvm_resv_object_alloc() fails, the pre-allocated storage bo is not freed. Add xe_bo_free(storage) before returning the error. xe_dma_buf_init_obj() calls xe_bo_init_locked(), which frees the bo on error. Therefore, xe_dma_buf_init_obj() must also free the bo on its own error paths. Otherwise, since xe_gem_prime_import() cannot distinguish whether the failure originated from xe_dma_buf_init_obj() or from xe_bo_init_locked(), it cannot safely decide whether the bo should be freed. Add comments documenting the ownership semantics: on success, ownership of storage is transferred to the returned drm_gem_object; on failure, storage is freed before returning. v2: Add comments to explain the free logic. CVE-2026-46221 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-10 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: EDAC/versalnet: Fix device name memory leak The device name allocated via kzalloc() in init_one_mc() is assigned to dev->init_name but never freed on the normal removal path. device_register() copies init_name and then sets dev->init_name to NULL, so the name pointer becomes unreachable from the device. Thus leaking memory. Use a stack-local char array instead of using kzalloc() for name.
CVE-2026-46201 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe: Fix dma-buf attachment leak in xe_gem_prime_import() When xe_dma_buf_init_obj() fails, the attachment from dma_buf_dynamic_attach() is not detached. Add dma_buf_detach() before returning the error. Note: we cannot use goto out_err here because xe_dma_buf_init_obj() already frees bo on failure, and out_err would double-free it. CVE-2026-52904 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-10 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau: fix nvkm_device leak on aperture removal failure When aperture_remove_conflicting_pci_devices() fails during probe, the error path returns directly without unwinding the nvkm_device that was just allocated by nvkm_device_pci_new(). This leaks both the device wrapper and the pci_enable_device() reference taken inside it. Jump to the existing fail_nvkm label so nvkm_device_del() runs and balances both. The leak was introduced when the intermediate nvkm_device_del() between detection and aperture removal was dropped in favor of creating the pci device once.
CVE-2026-46151 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-09 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: usblp: fix heap leak in IEEE 1284 device ID via short response usblp_ctrl_msg() collapses the usb_control_msg() return value to 0/-errno, discarding the actual number of bytes transferred. A broken printer can complete the GET_DEVICE_ID control transfer short and the driver has no way to know. usblp_cache_device_id_string() reads the 2-byte big-endian length prefix from the response and trusts it (clamped only to the buffer bounds). The buffer is kmalloc(1024) at probe time. A device that sends exactly two bytes (e.g. 0x03 0xFF, claiming a 1023-byte ID) leaves device_id_string[2..1022] holding stale kmalloc heap. That stale data is then exposed: - via the ieee1284_id sysfs attribute (sprintf("%s", buf+2), truncated at the first NUL in the stale heap), and - via the IOCNR_GET_DEVICE_ID ioctl, which copy_to_user()s the full claimed length regardless of NULs, up to 1021 bytes of uninitialized heap, with the leak size chosen by the device. Fix this up by just zapping the buffer with zeros before each request sent to the device.
CVE-2026-47326 1 Canonical 1 Ubuntu Linux 2026-06-09 5.5 Medium
Ubuntu Linux 6.8, 6.17 and 7.0 contain SAUCE patches with a memory leak in the handling of big responses to AppArmor notifications. The bug can be triggered by an unprivileged local user. The memory leak could lead to resource exhaustion.
CVE-2026-46309 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-09 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/uapi: Reject coh_none PAT index for CPU cached memory in madvise Add validation in xe_vm_madvise_ioctl() to reject PAT indices with XE_COH_NONE coherency mode when applied to CPU cached memory. Using coh_none with CPU cached buffers is a security issue. When the kernel clears pages before reallocation, the clear operation stays in CPU cache (dirty). GPU with coh_none can bypass CPU caches and read stale sensitive data directly from DRAM, potentially leaking data from previously freed pages of other processes. This aligns with the existing validation in vm_bind path (xe_vm_bind_ioctl_validate_bo). v2(Matthew brost) - Add fixes - Move one debug print to better place v3(Matthew Auld) - Should be drm/xe/uapi - More Cc v4(Shuicheng Lin) - Fix kmem leak issues by the way v5 - Remove kmem leak because it has been merged by another patch v6 - Remove the fix which is not related to current fix v7 - No change v8 - Rebase v9 - Limit the restrictions to iGPU v10 - No change (cherry picked from commit 016ccdb674b8c899940b3944952c96a6a490d10a)
CVE-2021-32032 1 Trustedfirmware 1 Trusted Firmware-m 2026-06-08 7.5 High
In Trusted Firmware-M through 1.3.0, cleaning up the memory allocated for a multi-part cryptographic operation (in the event of a failure) can prevent the abort() operation in the associated cryptographic library from freeing internal resources, causing a memory leak.
CVE-2026-45682 1 Opentelemetry 2 Ebpf Instrumentation, Opentelemetry-ebpf-instrumentation 2026-06-03 5.1 Medium
OpenTelemetry eBPF Instrumentation provides eBPF instrumentation based on the OpenTelemetry standard. Prior to version 0.9.0, the custom CappedConcurrentHashMap introduced for Java TLS state tracking never removes keys from its insertion-order queue when entries are deleted. In long-running instrumented JVMs, repeated connection churn can therefore grow the queue without bound and exhaust heap memory. This issue has been patched in version 0.9.0.

CVE-2026-44660 2 Ultrajson, Ultrajson Project 2 Ultrajson, Ultrajson 2026-06-02 7.5 High
UltraJSON is a fast JSON encoder and decoder written in pure C with bindings for Python 3.7+. Prior to 5.12.1, when ujson.dump() writes to a file-like object and the write operation raises an exception, the serialized JSON string object is not decremented, leaking memory. Each failed write operation leaks the full size of the serialized payload. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.12.1.
CVE-2026-23228 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: server: fix leak of active_num_conn in ksmbd_tcp_new_connection() On kthread_run() failure in ksmbd_tcp_new_connection(), the transport is freed via free_transport(), which does not decrement active_num_conn, leaking this counter. Replace free_transport() with ksmbd_tcp_disconnect().
CVE-2026-23037 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-02 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: etas_es58x: allow partial RX URB allocation to succeed When es58x_alloc_rx_urbs() fails to allocate the requested number of URBs but succeeds in allocating some, it returns an error code. This causes es58x_open() to return early, skipping the cleanup label 'free_urbs', which leads to the anchored URBs being leaked. As pointed out by maintainer Vincent Mailhol, the driver is designed to handle partial URB allocation gracefully. Therefore, partial allocation should not be treated as a fatal error. Modify es58x_alloc_rx_urbs() to return 0 if at least one URB has been allocated, restoring the intended behavior and preventing the leak in es58x_open().
CVE-2026-23031 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-02 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: gs_usb: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(): fix URB memory leak In gs_can_open(), the URBs for USB-in transfers are allocated, added to the parent->rx_submitted anchor and submitted. In the complete callback gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(), the URB is processed and resubmitted. In gs_can_close() the URBs are freed by calling usb_kill_anchored_urbs(parent->rx_submitted). However, this does not take into account that the USB framework unanchors the URB before the complete function is called. This means that once an in-URB has been completed, it is no longer anchored and is ultimately not released in gs_can_close(). Fix the memory leak by anchoring the URB in the gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback() to the parent->rx_submitted anchor.
CVE-2026-23026 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: qcom: gpi: Fix memory leak in gpi_peripheral_config() Fix a memory leak in gpi_peripheral_config() where the original memory pointed to by gchan->config could be lost if krealloc() fails. The issue occurs when: 1. gchan->config points to previously allocated memory 2. krealloc() fails and returns NULL 3. The function directly assigns NULL to gchan->config, losing the reference to the original memory 4. The original memory becomes unreachable and cannot be freed Fix this by using a temporary variable to hold the krealloc() result and only updating gchan->config when the allocation succeeds. Found via static analysis and code review.
