CVE-2023-52662 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: fix a memleak in vmw_gmrid_man_get_node When ida_alloc_max fails, resources allocated before should be freed, including *res allocated by kmalloc and ttm_resource_init.
CVE-2023-52610 2 Linux, Redhat 6 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ct: fix skb leak and crash on ooo frags act_ct adds skb->users before defragmentation. If frags arrive in order, the last frag's reference is reset in: inet_frag_reasm_prepare skb_morph which is not straightforward. However when frags arrive out of order, nobody unref the last frag, and all frags are leaked. The situation is even worse, as initiating packet capture can lead to a crash[0] when skb has been cloned and shared at the same time. Fix the issue by removing skb_get() before defragmentation. act_ct returns TC_ACT_CONSUMED when defrag failed or in progress. CVE-2022-50528 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdkfd: Fix memory leakage This patch fixes potential memory leakage and seg fault in _gpuvm_import_dmabuf() function
CVE-2022-50355 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: staging: vt6655: fix some erroneous memory clean-up loops In some initialization functions of this driver, memory is allocated with 'i' acting as an index variable and increasing from 0. The commit in "Fixes" introduces some clean-up codes in case of allocation failure, which free memory in reverse order with 'i' decreasing to 0. However, there are some problems: - The case i=0 is left out. Thus memory is leaked. - In case memory allocation fails right from the start, the memory freeing loops will start with i=-1 and invalid memory locations will be accessed. One of these loops has been fixed in commit c8ff91535880 ("staging: vt6655: fix potential memory leak"). Fix the remaining erroneous loops.
CVE-2022-49997 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: lantiq_xrx200: restore buffer if memory allocation failed In a situation where memory allocation fails, an invalid buffer address is stored. When this descriptor is used again, the system panics in the build_skb() function when accessing memory.
CVE-2022-49905 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: Fix possible leaked pernet namespace in smc_init() In smc_init(), register_pernet_subsys(&smc_net_stat_ops) is called without any error handling. If it fails, registering of &smc_net_ops won't be reverted. And if smc_nl_init() fails, &smc_net_stat_ops itself won't be reverted. This leaves wild ops in subsystem linkedlist and when another module tries to call register_pernet_operations() it triggers page fault: BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: fffffbfff81b964c RIP: 0010:register_pernet_operations+0x1b9/0x5f0 Call Trace: <TASK> register_pernet_subsys+0x29/0x40 ebtables_init+0x58/0x1000 [ebtables] ...
CVE-2022-49701 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ibmvfc: Allocate/free queue resource only during probe/remove Currently, the sub-queues and event pool resources are allocated/freed for every CRQ connection event such as reset and LPM. This exposes the driver to a couple issues. First the inefficiency of freeing and reallocating memory that can simply be resued after being sanitized. Further, a system under memory pressue runs the risk of allocation failures that could result in a crippled driver. Finally, there is a race window where command submission/compeletion can try to pull/return elements from/to an event pool that is being deleted or already has been deleted due to the lack of host state around freeing/allocating resources. CVE-2022-49452 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dpaa2-eth: retrieve the virtual address before dma_unmap The TSO header was DMA unmapped before the virtual address was retrieved and then used to free the buffer. This meant that we were actually removing the DMA map and then trying to search for it to help in retrieving the virtual address. This lead to a invalid virtual address being used in the kfree call. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: memstick/mspro_block: fix handling of read-only devices Use set_disk_ro to propagate the read-only state to the block layer instead of checking for it in ->open and leaking a reference in case of a read-only device.
CVE-2022-49159 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Implement ref count for SRB The timeout handler and the done function are racing. When qla2x00_async_iocb_timeout() starts to run it can be preempted by the normal response path (via the firmware?). qla24xx_async_gpsc_sp_done() releases the SRB unconditionally. When scheduling back to qla2x00_async_iocb_timeout() qla24xx_async_abort_cmd() will access an freed sp->qpair pointer: qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-2871:0: Async-gpsc timeout - hdl=63d portid=234500 50:06:0e:80:08:77:b6:21. qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-2853:0: Async done-gpsc res 0, WWPN 50:06:0e:80:08:77:b6:21 qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-2854:0: Async-gpsc OUT WWPN 20:45:00:27:f8:75:33:00 speeds=2c00 speed=0400. qla2xxx [0000:83:00.0]-28d8:0: qla24xx_handle_gpsc_event 50:06:0e:80:08:77:b6:21 DS 7 LS 6 rc 0 login 1|1 rscn 1|0 lid 5 BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 0000000000000004 IP: qla24xx_async_abort_cmd+0x1b/0x1c0 [qla2xxx] Obvious solution to this is to introduce a reference counter. One reference is taken for the normal code path (the 'good' case) and one for the timeout path. As we always race between the normal good case and the timeout/abort handler we need to serialize it. Also we cannot assume any order between the handlers. Since this is slow path we can use proper synchronization via locks. When we are able to cancel a timer (del_timer returns 1) we know there can't be any error handling in progress because the timeout handler hasn't expired yet, thus we can safely decrement the refcounter by one. If we are not able to cancel the timer, we know an abort handler is running. We have to make sure we call sp->done() in the abort handlers before calling kref_put().
CVE-2022-48720 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: macsec: Fix offload support for NETDEV_UNREGISTER event Current macsec netdev notify handler handles NETDEV_UNREGISTER event by releasing relevant SW resources only, this causes resources leak in case of macsec HW offload, as the underlay driver was not notified to clean it's macsec offload resources. Fix by calling the underlay driver to clean it's relevant resources by moving offload handling from macsec_dellink() to macsec_common_dellink() when handling NETDEV_UNREGISTER event.

Also move mlx5_debug_cq_remove() to the beginning of mlx5_core_destroy_cq() to be symmetrical with mlx5_core_create_cq(). kmemleak complains on: unreferenced object 0xc000000038625100 (size 64): comm "ethtool", pid 28301, jiffies 4298062946 (age 785.380s) hex dump (first 32 bytes): 60 01 48 94 00 00 00 c0 b8 05 34 c3 00 00 00 c0 `.H.......4..... 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 db 7d c1 00 00 00 c0 ..........}..... backtrace: [<000000009e8643cb>] add_res_tree+0xd0/0x270 [mlx5_core] [<00000000e7cb8e6c>] mlx5_debug_cq_add+0x5c/0xc0 [mlx5_core] [<000000002a12918f>] mlx5_core_create_cq+0x1d0/0x2d0 [mlx5_core] [<00000000cef0a696>] mlx5e_create_cq+0x210/0x3f0 [mlx5_core] [<000000009c642c26>] mlx5e_open_cq+0xb4/0x130 [mlx5_core] [<0000000058dfa578>] mlx5e_ptp_open+0x7f4/0xe10 [mlx5_core] [<0000000081839561>] mlx5e_open_channels+0x9cc/0x13e0 [mlx5_core] [<0000000009cf05d4>] mlx5e_switch_priv_channels+0xa4/0x230 [mlx5_core] [<0000000042bbedd8>] mlx5e_safe_switch_params+0x14c/0x300 [mlx5_core] [<0000000004bc9db8>] set_pflag_tx_port_ts+0x9c/0x160 [mlx5_core] [<00000000a0553443>] mlx5e_set_priv_flags+0xd0/0x1b0 [mlx5_core] [<00000000a8f3d84b>] ethnl_set_privflags+0x234/0x2d0 [<00000000fd27f27c>] genl_family_rcv_msg_doit+0x108/0x1d0 [<00000000f495e2bb>] genl_family_rcv_msg+0xe4/0x1f0 [<00000000646c5c2c>] genl_rcv_msg+0x78/0x120 [<00000000d53e384e>] netlink_rcv_skb+0x74/0x1a0
CVE-2021-47401 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipack: ipoctal: fix stack information leak The tty driver name is used also after registering the driver and must specifically not be allocated on the stack to avoid leaking information to user space (or triggering an oops). Drivers should not try to encode topology information in the tty device name but this one snuck in through staging without anyone noticing and another driver has since copied this malpractice. Fixing the ABI is a separate issue, but this at least plugs the security hole.
CVE-2021-47368 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: enetc: Fix illegal access when reading affinity_hint irq_set_affinity_hit() stores a reference to the cpumask_t parameter in the irq descriptor, and that reference can be accessed later from irq_affinity_hint_proc_show(). Since the cpu_mask parameter passed to irq_set_affinity_hit() has only temporary storage (it's on the stack memory), later accesses to it are illegal. Thus reads from the corresponding procfs affinity_hint file can result in paging request oops. The issue is fixed by the get_cpu_mask() helper, which provides a permanent storage for the cpumask_t parameter.
CVE-2021-47296 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: PPC: Fix kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl vcpu_load leak vcpu_put is not called if the user copy fails. This can result in preempt notifier corruption and crashes, among other issues.
CVE-2021-47160 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: mt7530: fix VLAN traffic leaks PCR_MATRIX field was set to all 1's when VLAN filtering is enabled, but was not reset when it is disabled, which may cause traffic leaks: ip link add br0 type bridge vlan_filtering 1 ip link add br1 type bridge vlan_filtering 1 ip link set swp0 master br0 ip link set swp1 master br1 ip link set br0 type bridge vlan_filtering 0 ip link set br1 type bridge vlan_filtering 0 # traffic in br0 and br1 will start leaking to each other As port_bridge_{add,del} have set up PCR_MATRIX properly, remove the PCR_MATRIX write from mt7530_port_set_vlan_aware.
CVE-2021-47158 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: sja1105: add error handling in sja1105_setup() If any of sja1105_static_config_load(), sja1105_clocking_setup() or sja1105_devlink_setup() fails, we can't just return in the middle of sja1105_setup() or memory will leak. Add a cleanup path.
CVE-2021-46977 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: VMX: Disable preemption when probing user return MSRs Disable preemption when probing a user return MSR via RDSMR/WRMSR. If the MSR holds a different value per logical CPU, the WRMSR could corrupt the host's value if KVM is preempted between the RDMSR and WRMSR, and then rescheduled on a different CPU. Opportunistically land the helper in common x86, SVM will use the helper in a future commit.
