CVE-2026-10669 1 Zephyrproject 1 Zephyr 2026-07-14 7.8 High
On Xtensa SoCs built with CONFIG_XTENSA_MPU and CONFIG_USERSPACE, arch_buffer_validate() in arch/xtensa/core/mpu.c — the architecture hook that verifies a user-mode-supplied buffer is accessible to the calling user thread with the requested permission — defaulted its return value to 0 (access permitted) and only set a denial result inside its per-MPU-region probe loop. When the rounded extent of the buffer wraps the 32-bit address space (size + alignment offset near SIZE_MAX, or ROUND_UP(size + offset) overflowing to 0), the loop executes zero iterations and the function returns 0 = permitted without probing any MPU region. The syscall-layer pre-checks (K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_SIZE_CHECK / Z_DETECT_POINTER_OVERFLOW) only catch a raw addr+size wrap and do not cover the ROUND_UP-induced wrap, and the string path (arch_user_string_nlen -> arch_buffer_validate) has no syscall-layer guard at all. An unprivileged user-mode thread can therefore pass a crafted (addr, size) to any syscall that validates user buffers via k_usermode_from_copy/to_copy or k_usermode_string_copy and have validation succeed for memory it must not access; the kernel then reads from (disclosure) or, with write=1, writes to (corruption) attacker-chosen kernel or other-partition memory on the thread's behalf, enabling information disclosure, memory corruption, privilege escalation, and denial of service. Affected from v3.7.0 (when Xtensa MPU userspace support was added) through v4.4.0. The fix changes the default to -EINVAL (deny by default), adds an explicit size_add_overflow check, and sets the success value only after the full range has been validated.
CVE-2026-57432 2 Perl, Shay 2 Perl, Perl 2026-07-14 8.4 High
Perl versions through 5.43.10 have an integer overflow in S_measure_struct leading to an out-of-bounds heap read in pack and unpack. S_measure_struct adds each item's size times its repeat count to a running total with no overflow check, so a large repeat count in a pack or unpack template wraps the signed SSize_t total negative. The @, X, and x position codes then guard their moves with a signed length comparison that passes when the length is negative, advancing the buffer pointer out of bounds. A template derived from untrusted input can read heap memory past the buffer and return it to the caller.
CVE-2026-13221 2 Perl, Shay 2 Perl, Perl 2026-07-14 9.1 Critical
Perl versions through 5.43.9 produce silently incorrect regular expression matches when an alternation of more than 65535 fixed string branches is compiled into a trie in Perl_study_chunk. When such branches are combined into a trie, the delta between the first branch and the shared tail is stored in a 16-bit field. A branch count above 65535 overflows the field, and the trie's match decision table is truncated with no warning or error. A pattern of this shape produces false positive matches (matching strings it should not) and false negative matches (failing to match strings it should). When such a pattern gates an access or filtering decision, the result is wrong.
CVE-2023-45853 3 Redhat, Smihica, Zlib 3 Jboss Core Services, Pyminizip, Zlib 2026-07-14 8.8 High
MiniZip in zlib through 1.3 has an integer overflow and resultant heap-based buffer overflow in zipOpenNewFileInZip4_64 via a long filename, comment, or extra field. NOTE: MiniZip is not a supported part of the zlib product. NOTE: pyminizip through 0.2.6 is also vulnerable because it bundles an affected zlib version, and exposes the applicable MiniZip code through its compress API.
CVE-2026-57156 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-07-13 9.8 Critical
FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.28.0 on 32-bit builds, FreeRDP clients contain an integer overflow in update_read_delta_points in libfreerdp/core/orders.c when multiplying an attacker-controlled point count by sizeof(DELTA_POINT), allowing a malicious RDP peer to allocate an undersized heap buffer and then write beyond it during initialization. This issue is fixed in version 3.28.0.
CVE-2026-15551 1 Samsung Open Source 1 Rlottie 2026-07-13 5.5 Medium
Integer overflow or wraparound vulnerability in Samsung Open Source rlottie allows Overflow Buffers. This issue affects .
CVE-2026-59089 3 Gimp, Gnome, Redhat 3 Gimp, Gimp, Enterprise Linux 2026-07-13 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GIMP. The PlayStation TIM loader, responsible for handling PlayStation image files, incorrectly calculates the size of the Color Look-Up Table (CLUT) due to an integer overflow. This occurs when multiplying num_colors and num_cluts, both 16-bit unsigned short integers, resulting in a value exceeding the maximum integer limit. An attacker could exploit this by providing a specially crafted image file, leading to undefined behavior and causing the GIMP plug-in to abort, effectively resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2026-40468 2 Fossies, Gnu 2 Gawk, Gawk 2026-07-13 9.1 Critical
Integer overflow vulnerability has been found in "builtin.c" program file of gawk. This issue may lead to memory exhaustion on the hosting operating system and could be used to overwrite gawk heap metadata and objects with attacker-controlled bytes. It affects gawk in versions 5.4.0 and below.
CVE-2026-38076 1 Artifex 1 Jbig2dec 2026-07-12 7.5 High
An integer overflow in the jbig2_arith_iaid_ctx_new() function of Artifex commit cc37d0 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
CVE-2026-58207 2 Linuxfoundation, Nats 2 Nats-server, Nats Server 2026-07-10 7.7 High
NATS Server is a high-performance server for NATS.io, the cloud and edge native messaging system. Prior to 2.14.3 and 2.12.12, a client able to send account-scoped connection monitoring requests could crash the server by supplying Connz pagination Offset and Limit values that overflowed internal arithmetic before the response window was safely bounded. This issue is fixed in versions 2.14.3 and 2.12.12.
CVE-2026-7828 1 Uvnc 1 Ultravnc 2026-07-09 5.3 Medium
UltraVNC repeater through 1.8.2.2 contains an integer overflow in the HTTP request logging path. In repeater/webgui/settings.c:336, the win_log() function allocates list nodes via malloc(sizeof(struct LIST) + strlen(line)), where line is derived from HTTP request URIs. If strlen(line) is sufficiently large, the addition overflows to a value smaller than sizeof(struct LIST), causing a heap allocation smaller than required. The subsequent strcpy of the full string into the undersized allocation produces a heap buffer overflow. In the current implementation this overflow is bounded by the HTTP receive buffer size (WI_RXBUFSIZE = 153600 bytes, well below SIZE_MAX on 32-bit builds), limiting practical exploitability to a partial heap write. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger the theoretical overflow path by sending a maximally-sized URI in an HTTP request to the repeater HTTP port.
CVE-2026-7838 1 Uvnc 1 Ultravnc 2026-07-09 8.8 High
UltraVNC viewer through 1.8.2.2 contains an integer overflow leading to a heap buffer overflow in the RFB protocol failure-response parsing path. In vncviewer/ClientConnection.cpp, the 4-byte network-supplied reasonLen field (type CARD32) is passed as reasonLen+1 to CheckBufferSize(). Because both operands are unsigned 32-bit, a reasonLen of 0xFFFFFFFF overflows to 0, causing CheckBufferSize to allocate only 256 bytes. The subsequent ReadString(m_netbuf, reasonLen) call then performs ReadExact for the original 4 GiB length into that 256-byte heap buffer. This overflow is reachable via rfbConnFailed (auth-scheme negotiation) and rfbVncAuthFailed (post-handshake) message types without successful authentication. A malicious VNC server, or any man-in-the-middle on the RFB stream, can trigger this condition when the victim viewer connects, potentially resulting in remote code execution as the user running the viewer. The crash was confirmed with AddressSanitizer on a portable reproduction harness (heap-buffer-overflow WRITE at offset 256).
CVE-2026-42974 1 Microsoft 11 Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 23h2, Windows 11 24h2 and 8 more 2026-07-08 8.1 High
Integer overflow or wraparound in Windows Performance Monitor allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
CVE-2026-42916 1 Microsoft 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more 2026-07-08 7.8 High
Integer overflow or wraparound in Windows NT OS Kernel allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally.
CVE-2026-59879 1 Immutable-js 2 Immutable, Immutable-js 2026-07-08 7.5 High
Immutable.js provides many Persistent Immutable data structures. Prior to 4.3.9 and 5.1.8, List#set, List#setSize, List#setIn, List#updateIn, and the functional set, setIn, and updateIn mishandle an index or size in the range 2 ** 30 to 2 ** 31 in setListBounds in src/List.js, causing an empty List to enter an uncatchable infinite loop, a populated List to allocate without bound until process abort, or setSize to silently wrap large values. This issue is fixed in versions 4.3.9 and 5.1.8.
